Comlink Communicator STL Files for 3D Printing on either a Resin or FDM 3D Printer.

The Comlink Communicator is a static prop which can be placed in the Stand ow worn on the Belt with the Belt Clip.

 All the pictures above are image captures from the 3D design software.

Hardware Required:

The 3D printed parts will require sanding and painting to make a quality finished prop.

 

Preparation of 3D Printed Parts for Assembly:

This is a time consuming process, but more time spent on preparation will result in a better looking prop.

1. All parts will require sanding. (FDM printed parts will require more sanding than Resin printed parts).
2. Assembling the parts. (Some parts can be assembled before painting and fitting the electronics).
3. Fill any seams and joints with a good quality filler.
4. More sanding.
5. Filler Primer.
6. More Sanding.
7. Final Painting
8. Fit electronics (If installing) and final assembly.
9. Weathering (Optional).
